The concept for the Weedstock Music Festival was formed in the hearts and minds of small group of Christians in North Florida in early 2011. This small group, known as Team P413, is inspired by the teachings and lessons of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Weedstock Music Festival is in no way affiliated with, or an advocate of, illegal drug use. We are not talking about that kind of “weed”!

THE INSPIRATION

“Say No To Drugs. Say Yes To Jesus.”

Let’s talk about the word “inspiration”, because there are several definitions. The one that seems most relevant to the Weedstock Music Festival and its movement is the following:

“a divine influence directly and immediately exerted upon the mind or soul.”

This, the Weedstock Music Festival, is a movement that is divinely inspired. Our group is under the influence … of something bigger. There are forces at work that are beyond our comprehension. These forces are explainable only through the mystery of faith. As a group, Team P413 has taken on the significant challenge of designing, developing, promoting, producing and executing a multi-day, multi-format festival for one reason – to celebrate our love for God!

So, will you join us in attempting to follow the famous words of the apostle Paul?

Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

It’s Not What You Think…Let Christ Rock You!

In April 2013 history will be made with Weedstock Music Festival, the most exciting new Christian event in North Florida! Attendees will experience two full days of electrifying concerts, inspiring speakers, Christian comedians, and worship in a fun and safe environment. Join thousands of friends, families, and attendees for a powerful event that will prove that no matter who you are, or where you’re from, Jesus is real and he will change your life.

The event will be held at Camp Weed, a rare jewel set in the center of North Florida. Owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Florida, Camp Weed offers 520 acres of beautiful, unspoiled land for hiking and camping as well as an idyllic lake for swimming, boating, and fishing.

The year’s theme is Philippians 4:13 which says, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” This powerful expression of faith from the Apostle Paul serves to remind us of the sustaining power of God. Through Weedstock, we will make our community a better place by presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ, bolstering spiritual growth, and encouraging people to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

Weedstock will be truly a life-changing event for all who attend. We hope to see you there!

On Thursday April 14th, 2011, in a meeting with Bishop John Howard, the bishop of the Diocese of Florida, the founding members of Team P413 began the initial steps towards the creation of a music festival for the ages. The dream of Team P413 is to design, produce and promote a festival that celebrates the love of God and his people. Our small group has begun the process of realization that surrounds this effort, and the challenge is extreme. Our vision is to create an event which will span the region of North Florida and be accessible to all. This event is not just for the insider, but for those searching for a relationship with God too. We don’t know what will happen. How many people will show? Hundreds? Thousands? Tens of Thousands? We are simply not sure. But, we do have hope.

Hope: In the face of overwhelming adversity, the expectation of success.

God is moving amongst us.
